I have a list of over 100 links that multiple competitors have as backlinks. I would like to get as many as possible. Does anyone have a good strategy for approaching these without emailing them one by one?

Thanks!

Hi, Not the best way of doing things as backlinks on sites that have loads of links do not do much for the site they are linking to from an SEO point of view. This would be a rather unproductive way of improving your search engine rankings. A better way to go about it would be to target websites that search engines consider to be important and official e.g. a .gov website, a prominant media site like the BBC etc etc. If you were to get a link included on one of those sites then it would be worth more than 50 links on link farm website. However it would still be worth trying to get a link on your 100+ list of sites and personally I would draft a generic email and email them all individually, ok it will take you a couple of hours but surely that would be worth it if you increase your search engines ranking ??? you have already spent hours research your competitors and target sites and asking the question on here, do a couple more hours and email them individually. Don’t email them in bulk using BCC as your email will likely get caught up in their spam filters.

Also whilst backlinks are valuable from an SEO point of view they are only a part of the equation. Personally I would concentrate on building quality content on your website as that is one of the best ways to increase your exposure on the search engines.
